Birthday Hamsters | Clearly Besotted

Hello everyone! I love these cute hamsters from Clearly Besotted. They are just too adorable ♥ After piling up the cheerleading panda bears I had to form a pyramid of the hamsters also :)

So I stamped the hamsters using Inkadinkado masking paper to create the pyramid and let them masked off. Then I heat embossed little sweet treats from Mama Elephant's 'little edibles' with white embossing powder. After that I used cracked pistacchio distress ink for a very light background.

I colored in all the sweet images with Copic markers and created two little tags with the Mama Elephant 'mini messages' stamp set and 'mini tags' dies. Again I used Copic markers to add color to them.

Last but not least I adhered the hamster-pyramid with double sided adhesvie to a craft cardbase after I had added the tags with a piece of ribbon.

I really like the clean look of the card where the focus is all on the hamsters :)

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Let's party 'til the cows come home | MFT

Hello everyone! I have another birthday card to show (and there are more to come :-) ). I created it for my sister who loves animals and always wanted to have a farm - so I thought this would fit perfectly.

I used a copic-friendly paper and started by stamping the background images from the "the whole herd" stamp set from MFT and colored them in with Copics. I also stamped the adorable cow onto a seperate sheet of paper and colored it in in the same step.

I prepared masks for the background images and used the super fun stencil from MFT. For the blending I chose the distress ink colors barn door, fossilized amber, cracked pistacchio and peacock feathers. I added white dots with an older stencil and white pigment ink.

For the sentiment I prepared a black piece of paper and white heat-embossed the sentiment included in the set. I adhered that strip of paper with foam tape to the fun background and added the cow with an action whobble.

I hope you like that crazy card and I will see you soon!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day,
xo

Hello brand new baby | My favorite things

Hello! For a friend I created this card for her new born baby girl :) I used the 'jungle friends' dies from My favorite things and made a slider card.

I started by coloring in pieces of paper with my distress inks. and scattered some water droplets to make the diecuts more interesting. Then I used the 'jungle friends' (MFT), 'simple stitched hillside borders' (LF) and the 'slide on over' (LF) dies to diecut all the images.

For the slider effect I created a second backgound which will be behind the main card, so that the scene continues in the slider area too. Therefore I used the tree die for the second background again and created an inlay tree so that the baby elephant can slide without an obstacle.

I added all my diecuts to the scene and the baby elephant with a 1-cent-coin so that I could adhere the jungle scene with foam tape to the second layer. I have also stamped the sentiment using the 'new family' stamp set from Mama Elephant.

Last but not least I adhered the two-layer-scene with double sided adhesive to a craft cardbase, added some googly eyes to the elephants and the fun slider card was finished.

Thank you for stopping by and have a beautiful day!
